On October 22, 2009 the Hillsborough Graduation Pathway Summit was held to unveil a ten year plan for attaining a 90% graduation rate by the year 2019 in Hillsborough County. Increasing the graduation rate is not just a parent issue or a school system issue. It is a community issue that is key to improving Tampa Bay's economic future. It will take all of us, working together, to challenge, inspire, and assist students to stay in high school and achieve the success of graduation and beyond.
