Volunteering with Volunteer Tampa Bay
Volunteer Tampa Bay offers several different ways for volunteers to get involved.
You can volunteer as much or as little time as you have available. If you only have a few hours, HandsOn Tampa Bay is a perfect way to connect with your community.
Most of the projects on our calendar are HandsOn Tampa Bay (HOT) managed projects
- which are organized by us and led by one of our volunteer Project Leaders. Referral projects cannot be signed up for on our site, however clicking on the Have Agency Contact Me link will notify them of your interest. For agencies that need volunteers on an ongoing or long-term basis, we also offer a list of Ongoing Volunteer Referrals. These usually require a long term commitment. Examples of these volunteer needs are serving as a mentor or tutor, a crisis counselor or teaching an adult to read.
